Alan Pyle, B.A., M.B.A.
Managing Partner

Mr. Pyle has been the president and Chief Executive Officer of CMIT Management Inc. since October, 1998 and the President of Realty Financial Advisors Inc. since October, 1996. Prior to that, Mr. Pyle was Executive Vice-President of Centrecorp Management Services Limited from January, 1997 to September, 1998. In the period from November, 1993 to May, 1996, Mr. Pyle held the position of president and chairman of Metfin Realty Advisor Inc. During this time, Mr. Pyle was responsible for reorganizing and restructuring limited partnerships in financial difficulty. Under his direction, Metfin Realty Advisor Inc. discontinued further syndication activity and focused solely on the management of $300 million of real estate investments throughout Canada and the United States on behalf of 2,500 Canadian and European investors. Mr. Pyle has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry with the Mercantile Bank of Canada, where he was Senior Vice-President of the Real Estate Division, and North American Trust (formerly First City Trust) where his last position was Executive Vice-President of Commercial Financial Services. As an officer with senior credit granting authority at each of Mercantile Bank of Canada and North American Trust, Mr. Pyle was responsible for managing portfolios of mortgages and loans across Canada and the United States, which aggregated several billion dollars. Mr. Pyle formed his own real estate asset management company, Realty Financial Advisors Inc., to take over the management of a group of limited partnerships originally syndicated by a major Canadian financial institution. Mr. Pyle obtained his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his B.A. from the University of Toronto.

Donald Rodney
Managing Partner

Mr. Rodney has been a partner and Managing Director of Realty Financial Advisors Inc. since October, 1996. He is the Managing Director/Founding Partner of RFA Mortgage Services Inc., a company created to arrange commercial mortgages on behalf of Canadian real estate companies with financing needs in Canada and the United States. Over a 23 year career in the financial services industry in the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia, Mr. Rodney has held senior management positions with Bank of Montreal, Mercantile Bank of Canada, Citibank Canada and North American Trust, where his last position was Senior Vice-President of the Real Estate Finance Group. Mr. Rodney is responsible for managing various real estate assets on behalf of limited partners with real estate investments in the United States and Canada.

Ben Rodney BA, MBA
Vice President Structured Products

Mr. Rodney has been with the RFA Group since 1998 and most recently his duties have focused on the growth of RFA Capital Management Inc., where he is the Vice President Structured Products. During his time with RFA Capital, Mr. Rodney has structured, priced and performed due diligence on over $4.0 billion of Canadian commercial mortgages. Mr. Rodney holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Victoria.
